Terrible experience! The junk boat I rented (broken seats/cigarette butts lined the bottom)from them broke down in the middle of the lake. The owner came after I was stranded for about an hour getting blown around by the wind and towed me back an hour and a half to the marina. They tried to charge me full price for the day(even though I only could use half of the day worth of rental due to THEIR boat). They settled on giving me $10 back, and had the audacity to kick me off the property since they were "done dealing with me". The crazy wife of the owner told him I called her a liar and yelled at her. I was completely offended as I would never tell at a woman. Buyer be ware!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Horrible experience!! I gave 1 star because I had to, but the real review is ZERO stars. I have never witnessed such disrespect as I did during a boat rental service from "business". The owner was rude, hateful, and the most condescending individual I have ever encountered. Mr. Vaughn (the owner) slammed boat rope on the dock in anger and threatening to cancel the rental as well as yelled at my 72 year old mother, all because my father who is 95% deaf was unable to hear a question Mr. Vaughn was asking. My family has been coming to Nemo for over 40 and never had a problem with lcoal businesses. I urge anyone reading this review to not waste your time and money at this disgusting establishment. Go to Pittsburgh campground, spend a little more and enjoy customer service that you deserve. Side note: The owners wife Brenda Vaughn wrote a 4 star review of her business clearly because there were so many negative reviews she felt she needed to add some positives to boost the percentage. Unfortunately from the reviews we have not been the only ones to experience this type of treatment. If you're looking for a stress free weekend this is not the place to go!
